Context with Care is a place to slow down and ask why. It explores the psychology of everyday thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and the circumstances that help them make sense.
The idea in two words
Context is the approach. A habit, a reaction or a misunderstanding rarely appears out of nowhere. Looking at what surrounds it, such as the situation, the relationships, the culture and the moment, often reveals the explanation that was missing.
Care is how that approach is delivered. Explanations here are offered thoughtfully, with attention to evidence and with respect for the fact that people experience the world differently.
01
Start with a good question
Before reaching for an answer, ask what else might be going on. Curiosity comes first.
02
Follow the evidence
Draw on psychological research, say how strong it is, and be honest about what is still uncertain.
03
Leave room for difference
Identities, cultures and life stories shape how ideas apply. There is rarely one explanation that fits everyone.
